  We can't resist an old joke. For years, we've brought you the news in a silly manner, so here it is - If you heard the buzzing of chainsaws and thunder of falling trees coming from the beaches last night, that's because, you guessed it - the loggers are here!! Our team found a nesting loggerhead on our survey area last night! We've seen a lot of leatherbacks but we didn't expect to see a loggerhead quite this early. We're already seeing quite a few leatherbacks for the second time this year Tonight we saw two turtles that were tagged for the first time while nesting together ten days ago.
